College of Medicine
As the centerpiece for the new UCF College of Medicine Campus located on 50 acres, this four-story building houses all medical school functions, such as the medical library, lecture halls, classrooms, teaching labs, state-of-the-art simulation learning labs, microscopy labs, anatomy lab, and clinical skills center. Specifically, the teaching labs focus on the biological sciences, including biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, and cell biology. The clinical skills center provides a simulated clinical setting for students to learn and practice essential skills, such as conducting physical exams. The simulation learning resource center is equipped with training simulators and medical mannequins to simulate various settings, such as operating, emergency, and delivery rooms. Additional spaces include faculty and administrative offices, kitchen and adjacent dining areas, public gathering spaces, media production room, a student lounge, and workout room.
