AdventHealth University -
Health Sciences Graduate Building
AdventHealth University Phase IV is the final building planned for the AdventHealth University campus. The campus is located on a peninsula between Lake Winyah and Lake Estelle, adjacent to AdventHealth Orlando. HuntonBrady has designed the campus in its entirety, beginning in 1995.
The three-story, 55,000 GSF building houses a multipurpose assembly space with seating for 300, registrar and enrollment services, multi-disciplinary simulation labs, classrooms, and faculty administration offices. Academic programs include occupational therapy, physical therapy, physician’s assistant, and nurse anesthesia.
The simulation spaces, including a simulation operating room, are intended to be shared with the hospital. The curvilinear shape is a result of the curved extension of the adjacent Phase III Building, thus linking the two buildings as a single composition. The building is designed for future vertical expansion to five stories.
