Maurizio Maso, AIA
Vice President, Design Principal
Design Principal Maurizio Maso is responsible for establishing and fostering the creative direction of the firm. He received his bachelors and masters degrees in architecture from the University of Florida. He is the design architect of many notable Florida buildings, including the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences, Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Maitland Summit III, College of Central Florida Century Center, Valencia College West Campus Special Events Center, the Mennello Museum Expansion, Seminole State College Center at Heathrow, Altamonte and Sanford/Lake Mary Campus renovations and many more. Maurizio received the 2006 State of Florida AIA Design Honor award for his consistent design excellence in architectural practice, the 2012 AIA Orlando Medal of Honor award, and in 2008 he was the recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus award from the University of Florida.
Paul Macheske, AIA, ACHA, LEED AP
Vice President of Healthcare Design/Practice Leader
Paul Macheske has more than 20 years of healthcare planning, programming and design experience with community hospitals, academic medical centers, health system facilities and government institutions. Paul has presented his innovative ideas in healthcare design to the Heath Guidelines Revision Committee (HGRC) of the Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He also was a featured speaker on Architecture for Image-Guided Neurosurgery at the National Symposium on the Design of High Performance Operating Rooms. He led the teams for new hospitals in Daytona Beach and Wesley Chapel, Florida, and Castle Rock, Colorado. He has also led multiple master plans, expansions and renovations for healthcare systems in Florida, Arizona and Colorado. He received his bachelor of architecture degree from the University of Kansas.
Greg Braithwaite, AIA, ACHA
Vice President of Healthcare Design/Practice Leader
Greg Braithwaite is an experienced and engaged healthcare project manager whose projects include everything from complicated phased renovations in aging facilities to new expansions and greenfield hospitals. He ably manages the interests of user groups to assure that space needs and functional requirements are met. Greg provides leadership to the design team and its consultants from project planning through design and construction administration. His notable projects include the new 262,000 square foot Viera Hospital in Brevard County, Florida, and a 250,000 square foot expansion to Celebration Health in Celebration, Florida. He graduated with a bachelor of architecture from Andrews University.
Daniel Gordon, AIA, LEED AP
Danny Gordon has over 18 years of experience designing and master planning commercial, educational, municipal, high-rise residential and hospitality projects throughout Florida. He is considered an expert in the design of investment-grade office buildings. Danny received his master of architecture degree from the University of Florida and his bachelor of science in design from Clemson University. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Young Architects Forum, and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). He was awarded the 2004 AIA Orlando Young Architects Forum Achievement Award in recognition of a young architect who consistently demonstrates excellence, exceptional promise and leadership qualities within the profession and community.
Aurelio Posada, AIA
Aurelio Posada is an Associate Principal and Lead Designer with over 25 years of architectural experience. As senior designer for new hospitals, medical facilities, schools, churches and more, he brings a wealth of design and technical expertise, imagination and artistic talent to our team. His projects include Florida Hospital Orlando’s iconic Ginsburg Tower and Walt Disney Pavilion at Florida Hospital for Children, Castle Rock Adventist Hospital and the Pavilion for Women and Children at Lakeland Regional Health. Aurelio is a native of Colombia who has also worked as a designer in Colombia, Spain and England. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects Orlando and an accomplished artist who produces many of the firm’s architectural sketches. He enjoys spending time with his wife and son, and has a passion for teaching and mentorship, as well as architectural free hand sketching when traveling.
Chris Dunlop, AIA
Chris Dunlop is an Associate and Project Manager with over 11 years of experience leading various healthcare, education and commercial projects through design and construction. His recent projects include Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Cancer Institute, and several projects at Florida Hospital Flagler. He received his bachelor of design and master of architecture from the University of Florida. Chris is an active member of AIA Orlando/AIA Florida and in 2008 was named the recipient of the AIA Orlando Fred H. Pryor Young Architects Forum Achievement Award.
Thomas Hagood, AIA, LEED AP
Thomas Hagood is an Associate and Project Manager, specializing in education, religious and commercial projects. A graduate of North Carolina State University with dual bachelor degrees in Architecture and Environmental Design, he is highly regarded by our clients and staff for his commitment to client satisfaction, attention to project detail and intelligence. You’ve probably seen Tommy’s work on Father Lopez Catholic High School in Daytona Beach, Central Florida Community College’s Citrus Instructional Center and Correct Craft’s Boat Manufacturing Facility and Corporate Headquarters. Tommy is an active volunteer in our community and spearheads HuntonBrady’s team at Buddy Walk Orlando.
Drew Krecicki, AIA
Drew is an Associate and Senior Project Manager with over 25 years of professional experience. Drew’s primary focus is in the areas of healthcare, commercial, and educational projects. Specializing in larger projects, he is currently working on the Florida Hospital Orlando campus and the new NASA Headquarters Building. In 2001, Drew was the recipient of the AIA Orlando Chapter President’s Award in recognition of his service to both the profession and community. He also serves on the Winter Park Casa Feliz Historical Preservation Board. On weekends, he can be found ushering at his church, kayaking, surfing or biking.
Karen Moorefield serves as Director of Corporate Development. Her expertise in the architectural community for over 24 years includes project administration, business development and firm administration. One of her primary responsibilities is to organize and lead the business development efforts for our commercial, interior design and medical office groups which provide design and planning services to corporations, developers, building owners and brokers. Karen also oversees and implements all of the Human Resources policies, programs and practices for the firm. We also know Karen as an unabashed dog lover who supports the community’s pet rescue charities.
